Work Injury Treatment in Morrow for Job-Related Symptoms

Work injury treatment helps people who develop back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, or other symptoms during work. The key decision is whether the care plan matches the symptoms and the movements that trigger them.

Our team reviews the patient’s health history, symptoms, job duties, and goals. Movement testing and strength testing help show how the issue affects daily activity. This page focuses on what happens during that evaluation and how the findings guide treatment choices.

  • Bring a clear account of when symptoms began and which work movements increase them.
  • Describe lifting, bending, reaching, sitting, driving, or repeated motions connected to the problem.
  • Ask how the evaluation findings connect to spinal adjustments, rehabilitation, or corrective exercises.
  • Discuss follow-up needs and self-care steps before starting a care plan.

Process

How We Evaluate and Treat a Work Injury

1

Review the work task and symptoms

We discuss the job movement, symptom start, pain location, and daily activities that now feel difficult.

2

Test movement and strength

We check range of motion, strength, posture, and other findings that help explain how the injury affects function.

3

Use imaging when clinically indicated

Digital or 3D X-rays may support the evaluation when the clinical findings call for more information.

4

Build the care plan

We explain the findings and select care that may include adjustments, rehabilitation, massage therapy, physical therapy, or decompression.

5

Review progress and self-care

We discuss progress, corrective exercises, and practical self-care steps as the patient works toward their goals.

What Patients Receive From This Evaluation

A job-focused symptom review

Customers explain what happened, where symptoms appear, and which tasks affect them. The evaluation connects that information with movement and strength findings before care is planned.

Care matched to patient goals

Patients receive an individualized plan that can include spinal adjustments, rehabilitation, physical therapy, or corrective exercises. Individual response differs, so progress guides later care choices.

A clear limit for this service

This care is not the right fit for symptoms that need immediate hospital treatment or another medical specialty. We can discuss the concern during the consultation and direct the patient toward appropriate care.

I’ve always wanted to go to a Chiropractor but never did, however, God has an interesting way of getting our attention and giving us what we need. I was involved in an auto accident and came here for relief and treatment. Dr. Weldon and his staff are patient and very attentive. I was nervous about some things prior to being a patient and they walked me through every step of my treatment. It’s a gradual build to the adjustments, however, trusting the process is a part of the process and I’m excited to experience my final results because I’m beyond pleased so far. Good parking, safe location, clean facility, clean bathrooms, clean waiting area, knowledgeable, cares about you as a person and your healing, and flexible availability.

Questions Patients Ask About Work Injury Care

What happens during a work injury evaluation?

Job duties are reviewed first, and Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Atlanta then checks symptoms, movement, and strength. The visit includes a health history and exam. Digital or 3D X-rays may support the evaluation when clinically indicated. Patients then discuss the findings and possible care, which may include adjustments, rehabilitation, physical therapy, or corrective exercises.

How does a visit move from the first call to the last step?

The visit moves from intake and symptom review to testing, findings, and a personalized care plan. Patients describe the work task and daily limits. We check movement and strength, then explain suitable treatment options. Later visits can include progress re-examination and adjustments to exercises or other care.

Which part of a work injury changes how long care takes?

The evaluation findings and the patient’s goals influence the care plan and its length. Symptoms that affect movement, strength, or daily tasks may need more than one type of care. We review progress during treatment, and individual response guides later decisions without promising a set timeframe.

What should I bring to my first visit?

A description of the work task, symptom start, affected area, and current limits helps us assess the problem. Patients should also bring relevant health information and any records they want discussed. The intake and exam give our team the main details needed to plan suitable care.

Can I receive same-day care for a work injury?

Same-day appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM. Patients can discuss their symptoms during the visit, and our team will complete an evaluation before recommending care. Same-day availability does not promise a specific treatment result or replace hospital care for a serious medical emergency.

Why might an X-ray be part of the evaluation?

Digital or 3D X-rays may add useful information when clinical findings support imaging. The exam comes first, and imaging is not automatic for every patient. We use the evaluation findings, health history, symptoms, and movement checks to decide what information is relevant to the care plan.

How can I tell whether this care fits my symptoms?

Work injury care fits symptoms that need a chiropractic evaluation for pain, strain, or movement limits linked to job activity. Our team reviews the concern, checks function, and explains suitable options. Symptoms needing urgent hospital care or another specialty require a different medical path.
